Casey Jones Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon

A beautifully authentic, craft Kentucky bourbon with a phenomenal Prohibition-era backstory! The distillery is named in honor of Casey Jones, a legendary Golden Pond moonshiner and master craftsman who famously designed and built unique square copper pot stills out of pure necessity (they were easier to hide and transport in the back of a wagon). Today, his grandson Arlon "AJ" Jones carries on that legacy in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, using a replica of Casey's square still. Bottled at a robust 104 proof (52% ABV), this small-batch release delivers a remarkably smooth, sweet, and corn-forward profile that pays perfect homage to Kentucky's illicit distilling history.

NOSE

Warm and inviting with classic aromas of fresh sweet corn, rich butterscotch, toasted oak, and a subtle hint of dark berries.

PALATE

Smooth, rich, and full-bodied despite the higher proof. Lush flavors of deep caramel, vanilla bean, and dark fruit are beautifully balanced by gentle baking spice and a very faint whisper of tobacco.

FINISH

Medium-long, warm, and highly satisfying with a lingering, sweet corn and spicy oak character.
