Casamigos Anejo Tequila

Casamigos Añejo Tequila is an ultra-premium, smooth-drinking spirit from the incredibly famous brand launched by long-time friends George Clooney, Rande Gerber, and Mike Meldman. Rooted in an unhurried production style, the fully mature blue Weber agaves are harvested from the Jalisco Highlands, slow-roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, and subjected to an extra-slow 80-hour fermentation process using a proprietary yeast blend. The spirit is then aged for 14 months in premium American white oak barrels (primarily ex-bourbon). Known for its highly accessible, sweet profile, Casamigos Añejo masterfully subdues the raw, peppery edge of agave in favor of a soft, dessert-forward oak wood experience.

Food Pairing: Slow-cooked brisket, rich chocolate lava cake, churros with caramel dipping sauce, or an artisanal charcuterie board with smoked Gouda.

TASTING NOTES Deep, warm golden amber with a highly silky, rich, and medium-to-full-bodied mouthfeel that coats the tongue with zero aggressive heat.

NOSE Powerfully sweet and inviting; immediately opens with dominant aromas of warm vanilla bean, rich butterscotch, and sweet caramel, backed by soft notes of cooked agave, subtle baking spices, and a hint of toasted oak.

PALATE Incredibly smooth and velvety on the entry; forward flavors of sweet toffee, vanilla fudge, and honeyed agave are beautifully balanced by a gentle undercurrent of dark chocolate, dried fruits, and light nutmeg spice.

FINISH Long, smooth, and notably sweet, leaving a lingering, silky trail of sweet vanilla cream, soft wood char, and a final, delicate touch of black pepper.
