About the Lapostolle Cuvee Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
The 2022 Lapostolle Cuvée Alexandre Cabernet Sauvignon is a refined and expressive red from the prestigious Apalta Valley, crafted with a French winemaking philosophy and Chilean soul. Born from a vintage that allowed for excellent aromatic precision, it offers an intense bouquet of ripe blackcurrants, fresh cherries, and dark berries, layered with notes of rosemary, sage, and a touch of graphite. On the palate, it is full-bodied and velvety, showcasing a dense core of fruit supported by firm, polished tannins and a vibrant acidity. This estate-grown wine is certified organic and biodynamic, aged for 14 months in French oak to ensure a long, complex, and elegant finish.

A fresh nose full of fruit. Dark cherries, fresh blueberries, spices, crushed stones and olives. A touch of graphite, too. Well-structured and vertical on the palate, but there is also fluidity in the center palate filled with fruit. Tight grip of crunchy tannins at the end before a long, fruit-expressive finish.
