About the Casa D'Ambra Forastera 2023
Luminous straw yellow in the glass. The nose is delicate but distinctive—think lemon blossom, green melon, salty sea spray, and wild herbs. On the palate it’s light, bright and zesty with clean minerality, citrus peel, and a hint of almond on the finish. There’s no oak here—just freshness, precision, and a whisper of volcanic depth.
Serve it with oysters, linguine alle vongole, grilled calamari, or anything that once swam in salt water. Ideal for Sunday lunches, picnics by the beach, or dinners where the only candlelight is from the setting sun. This wine is summer—bottled.
90 Points - James Suckling
Chopped herbs, papaya and honeydew melon on the nose, followed by an juicy, medium-bodied palate. Tasty ripe-orange and herb character. Drink now.
