About the Inama Carmenere Piu 2021
A magnificent and beautifully expressive Northern Italian red wine from the 2021 vintage, displaying a vivid ruby-red core with a narrow, bright purple rim. The seductive and spicy nose opens with an inviting bouquet of black cherries, ripe raspberries, and spiced black plums, seamlessly woven with signature notes of white pepper, cocoa, fresh sage, and a subtle touch of sweet tobacco leaf. On the medium-bodied palate, it is remarkably fresh, elegant, and dangerously easy to drink, offering a harmonious balance of juicy dark berry profiles framed by fine, supple tannins and a long, savory finish accented by alpine herbs.
Food Pairing: Pairs flawlessly with peppery salumi, grilled pork chops, slow-simmered lentil stews, wild mushroom risotto, or roasted poultry.

"Inama has been the pioneer of Carmenere in the Colli Berici of the Veneto and to great effect. The Più is a blend of Carmenere with a touch of Merlot and creates a deeply hued wine that opens with aromas of spiced black plum, tobacco, sage, white pepper and sweet spices from the time spent in oak. Velvety and lush, the palate is filled with fresh and preserved blackberries with spice and savory herbs all framed by the fine and supple tannins on the finish."
