Carmen Gran Reserva Carmenere

Viña Carmen Gran Reserva Carménère is a rich, deeply concentrated, and expressive Chilean red wine crafted by Viña Carmen, Chile’s oldest winery. Sourced from granitic soils in the renowned Apalta region of the Colchagua Valley, it undergoes extended skin contact and aging in French oak barrels. In the glass, it displays an intense dark purple-ruby hue. The bouquet opens with alluring aromas of dark plum, blackberry preserve, and black cherry, interwoven with undertones of dark chocolate, sweet baking spices, tobacco leaf, and subtle peppery paprika. On the palate, it is generous, medium- to full-bodied, and velvety, delivering ripe dark fruit flavors supported by smooth, dusty tannins and a touch of savory oak on a long finish.
