New Harbour Distillery Cape Alchemist VSOP Brandy

New Harbour Distillery Cape Alchemist VSOP Brandy is a proudly South African Cape Brandy crafted from wine through traditional copper pot-still distillation. Only a carefully selected portion of the spirit is retained through its two-stage distillation before maturation for three years. It then receives an additional finish in heavily toasted French oak barrels, developing a soft, full-bodied and fruit-forward character with nutty undertones and a distinctive smoky finish. Unfiltered and presented without added flavours or preservatives, Cape Alchemist showcases New Harbour Distillery's characterful approach to South African pot-still brandy.

Food Pairing: Grilled steak, braised beef, charcuterie, mature cheeses, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, orange desserts, and spiced fruit cake.

Palate: Soft and full-bodied with prominent fruitiness and nutty undertones.
