Cadenhead Original Collection Macduff 13 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Cadenhead Original Collection Macduff 13 Year Old is an independently bottled single malt Scotch whisky from Macduff Distillery in Scotland's Highland region. Distilled in 2011 and bottled in February 2025, this expression was matured for 13 years in bourbon barrels and bottled at 46% ABV. Selected by Wm Cadenhead for its Original Collection, it showcases the distillery's delicate, fruit-forward character through a harmonious combination of fresh orchard fruits, honeyed sweetness, gentle floral aromas and creamy malt richness.

Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with roasted chicken, grilled pork tenderloin, mature cheddar, toasted almonds and buttery shortbread. Apple tart, vanilla custard and lemon sponge cake complement its fruity sweetness and soft bourbon-cask character.

Tasting Notes: A fresh and inviting Highland single malt displaying crisp orchard fruits, honeydew melon, golden syrup and gentle cereal sweetness. Its bourbon-barrel maturation contributes a rounded character with delicate vanilla notes and a light, creamy finish.

Palate: Juicy pears and apples mingle with digestive biscuits, warm golden syrup and gentle malt sweetness, creating a smooth and pleasantly rounded profile.

Finish: Light and inviting, with lingering lemon sponge cake, vanilla, buttery barley notes and soft whipped cream sweetness.
