Cadenhead's Original Collection Glenglassaugh 8 Year Old 2015

Cadenhead's Original Collection Glenglassaugh 8 Year Old 2015 is an independently bottled Highland single malt Scotch whisky showcasing the bright and fruity character of Glenglassaugh Distillery. Distilled in 2015 and matured for eight years in Bourbon casks, it was bottled by William Cadenhead in May 2024 at 46% ABV. The Bourbon maturation emphasizes fresh orchard fruit, honeyed sweetness, vanilla and creamy malt, complemented by gentle spice and rich confectionery notes. 

Food Pairing: Pair with roast chicken, mild cheddar, baked apples, vanilla cheesecake, honey-glazed nuts or apple strudel.

Tasting Notes: Fresh and fruit-forward with green apple, honey, vanilla, creamy malt and gentle spice.

Nose: Green apple, brandy snaps, malt and oats.

Palate: Honeycomb and apple strudel with subtle spice and vanilla ice cream.

Finish: Pears, vanilla pods and Demerara sugar.
