Cadenhead's Chairman's Stock Ardnamurchan 5 Year Old 2019

Cadenhead's Chairman's Stock Ardnamurchan 5 Year Old 2019 is an independently bottled Highland single malt Scotch whisky selected from the late Cadenhead chairman Hedley G. Wright's private stock. Distilled at Ardnamurchan in 2019 and matured for five years in an Oloroso sherry hogshead, it was bottled in October 2025 at a natural cask strength of 60.1% ABV. Only 324 bottles were produced, delivering a bold combination of rich sherry character, smoke, dark fruit, savoury notes and coastal intensity. 

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked brisket, charred pork belly, barbecue ribs, blue cheese, roasted mushrooms or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Rich and powerful with ripe berries, savoury smoke, dark cocoa, barbecue character and salty herbal notes.

Nose: Raspberries, strawberry conserve and smoky bacon.

Palate: Oily and full-bodied with barbecue coals, cocoa powder and soy sauce.

Finish: Salty and savoury with blue cheese sauce, burdock, dandelion and nettle tea.
