Silver Heights The Summit 2018 is a flagship Bordeaux-style blend produced by Silver Heights in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in Ningxia, China. In the glass, it displays a deep, opaque garnet-purple color. The expressive bouquet opens with complex aromas of ripe cassis, black cherry, and plum, seamlessly integrated with notes of cedar, tobacco leaf, graphite minerality, dried herbs, and subtle toasted oak spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, and elegant, offering a dense core of concentrated dark fruit supported by velvety, fine-grained tannins and a vibrant natural acidity that leads into a long, polished, and savory finish.
