The decision to use all the grapes from the vineyard, instead of selecting the best for an Amarone, and to skip the currently fashionable “ripasso” technique, ensures the high quality of the grapes is not compromised.
The blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Corvinone, and 10% Rondinella and Molinara create a wine with notes of forest fruits, spice, and hints of rose petals on the nose. On the palate, this wine is fresh and complex, with a pleasing tannin structure. After fermentation, the wine ages for 18 months in 3000-liter oak casks, resulting in a wine that is a true testament to the exceptional qualities of the vineyard.
