Bussola Recioto Tb 2008

A luxurious and intensely concentrated dessert wine offering aromas of dried black cherries, figs, raisins, cocoa, sweet spices, and espresso. The palate is rich and velvety with layers of ripe dark fruit, chocolate, licorice, and baking spice, balanced by vibrant acidity that carries through to a long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing: Dark chocolate desserts, flourless chocolate cake, blue cheeses, berry tarts, dried fruits, roasted nuts, and aged hard cheeses.

Prunes and dates on the nose, with more curranty character coming through on the palate. Full-bodied, starting silky but ending lightly firm. Showing absolutely no sign of age and nice to drink now.
