Burrowing Owl Merlot 2022

A complex and intense full-bodied red wine from a notable Okanagan growing season characterized by a late start and exceptional finish. The 2022 vintage offers a powerful nose of black plum, baked blueberry, and mint dark chocolate, layered with notes of violet, black licorice, and clove. On the palate, it is richly textured with vibrant flavours of ripe raspberry, shortbread, and espresso, balanced by fresh acidity and firm, ripe tannins. Savoury undertones of paprika and sage lead into a long, persistent finish.
