About the Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Strength Batch No. 8
Bulleit Barrel Strength Batch No. 8 is made from a high-rye mash bill (28%) that imparts a distinct spiciness to the whiskey, differentiating it from bourbons with higher corn content. The spice shows on the nose, paired with hints of vanilla and oak. The palate is smooth, with maple, toffee and nutmeg shining through.
Food Pairing: Splendidly complements smoked brisket, grilled ribeye steak, barbecue ribs, roasted duck, spicy glazed pork, aged cheddar, and dark chocolate desserts.
