Bruno Giacosa Barolo Falletto 2019 is an exceptional, highly expressive red wine produced by the legendary Azienda Agricola Falletto di Bruno Giacosa. Sourced from the estate’s renowned south-southwest-facing Falletto vineyard in Serralunga d'Alba, this 100% Nebbiolo undergoes 25 days of fermentation and maceration in stainless steel vats before aging for 30 months in large French oak casks and an additional 10 months in the bottle. In the glass, it displays a radiant, deep garnet-ruby color. The complex and ethereal bouquet reveals intense aromas of wild red cherries, raspberries, dark plum, and pomegranate, seamlessly intertwined with dried rose petals, forest floor, orange peel, and subtle baking spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, structured, and muscular yet remarkably refined, offering dense fruit purity framed by firm, finely tuned tannins, vibrant natural acidity, and a long, persistent saline-mineral finish.

Food Pairing: Pairs exceptionally well with braised beef short ribs, roast lamb, truffle-infused dishes, wild game, tajarin with ragù, and aged Parmigiano-Reggiano.

Lovely aromas of strawberries, plums, and berries. Bark and mushrooms. Complex and aromatic. Medium to full body with super fine tannins that are supple and gorgeous. Lovely length. So attractive now. Leave it for four or five years.
