Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie

Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie is an unpeated Single Malt Scotch Whisky crafted at the Bruichladdich Distillery on the Isle of Islay. Distilled using 100% Scottish-grown barley and matured in a variety of cask types—predominantly American oak with select European oak influence—this un-chill filtered and naturally colored expression preserves the pure floral and elegant coastal character of Islay barley. It offers a bright, complex profile marked by crisp green fruit, sweet malted barley, floral wildflower notes, and a distinct maritime salinity.

Food Pairing: Fresh oysters, smoked salmon, seared sea scallops, goat cheese, or lemon-herb grilled chicken.

Tasting Notes : Pale golden sunlight appearance with a smooth, medium-to-full body and a silky, coating mouthfeel on the palate.

Nose : Vibrant floral notes, sweet malted barley, crisp green apple, ripe pear, citrus zest, wildflower honey, and a hint of fresh sea air.

Palate : Clean and refined with rich barley sugar, sweet oak, green fruit, lemon curd, subtle vanilla, and a light touch of coastal salt.

Finish : Long, crisp, and refreshing with lingering notes of sweet malt, gentle oak spice, floral honey, and subtle maritime salinity.

Serve : Serve neat at room temperature in a Glencairn glass, or with a few drops of pure water to open up the delicate floral and maritime aromas.
