Dramfool Middle Cut Bruichladdich 13 Year Old 2011 is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky independently bottled by Dramfool. Distilled at Bruichladdich in 2011, it spent 13 years maturing in a single first-fill Bourbon barrel before being bottled at cask strength of 61% ABV in February 2025. Cask #3203 produced just 216 bottles, showcasing a powerful bourbon-cask profile of vanilla, caramel, citrus and coastal malt character.
Food Pairing: Pair with vanilla crème brûlée, salted caramel desserts, roasted almonds, mature cheddar, grilled pork or citrus tart.
Tasting Notes: Rich bourbon-cask sweetness with vanilla, toffee and caramel alongside citrus, coconut and coastal salinity.
Nose: Vanilla, bourbon notes, sea salt and rich toffee with creamy confectionery sweetness.
Palate: Intensely sweet with rich toffee and caramel, developing coconut, lemon and warming oak at full strength.
Finish: Long and warming with woody spice, citrus, coconut and lingering sweet oak.
