About the Catherine et Pierre Breton La Ritournelle Rose 2025
Catherine et Pierre Breton La Ritournelle Rosé 2025 is a dry, vibrant, and mineral-driven biodynamic rosé produced by Catherine and Pierre Breton in the Bourgueil appellation of the Loire Valley. Crafted from 100% Cabernet Franc grown on gravelly soils, it undergoes a gentle six-hour direct pressing followed by natural fermentation and maturation in concrete tanks. Crisp, refreshing, and pale salmon in color, it offers lifted aromas of wild strawberries, red currants, pink grapefruit, and subtle herbal notes, supported by a distinct chalky minerality and bright, mouthwatering acidity on a clean, dry finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with charcuterie, grilled prawns, goat cheese crostini, fresh summer salads, roasted chicken, and Mediterranean tapas.
