About the Brave New Spirits Cask Masters Tamnavulin 13 Year Old 2011
Brave New Spirits Cask Masters Tamnavulin 13 Year Old 2011 is a Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky independently bottled as part of the Cask Masters Distiller’s Cut series. Distilled at Tamnavulin and aged for 13 years, this single-cask release was finished in a first-fill Tokaj wine barrique, bringing a rich layer of honeyed sweetness and creamy fruit character to the Speyside malt. Bottled at 54.9% ABV with an outturn of only 285 bottles, it combines expressive malt character with the distinctive influence of the sweet-wine cask.
Food Pairing: Pair with crème brûlée, honey-glazed nuts, fruit tart, vanilla cheesecake or mild creamy cheeses.
Tasting Notes: Honeyed and creamy with sweet vanilla, cereal and mineral notes, complemented by ripe fruit and gentle wine-cask richness.
Nose: Vanilla cream, honey, ripe orchard and tropical fruit with citrus zest and soft oak.
Palate: Manuka honey, vanilla, green apple and sweet malt with gentle fruit, wine and spice notes.
Finish: Lingering and sweet with pear, creamy malt and a clean mineral wine character.
