Brancaia Chianti Classico Riserva is a remarkably structured, elegant, and expressive organic Tuscan red wine that beautifully blends the power of estate-grown Sangiovese with the plushness of Merlot. Sourced from choice vineyard plots in Castellina and Radda in Chianti, the Sangiovese component is aged for 16 months in French oak tonneaux, while the Merlot component matures in French oak barriques before the final blend is bottled. It opens with an expressive, fragrant bouquet of ripe black cherries, wild strawberries, and red plums, seamlessly layered with complex notes of leather, sweet baking spices, warm tobacco leaf, and tilled earth.
