About the Giacomo Bologna 'Braida' Brachetto D'Acqui 2025
Giacomo Bologna 'Braida' Brachetto D'Acqui 2025 is a bright, aromatic, and lightly sparkling sweet red wine produced in the heart of Piedmont. Displaying a light ruby-red color with persistent effervescence, it opens with fragrant notes of fresh wild strawberries, ripe raspberries, rose petals, and subtle musky spices. On the palate, it is light-bodied, lively, and delicate, offering a harmonious balance between soft natural sweetness, crisp berry acidity, and a clean, refreshing finish.
Food Pairing: Fresh fruit tarts, strawberry shortcake, mixed berry parfaits, dark chocolate desserts, biscotti, and panettone.
Wine Enthusiast
This is a berry patch in a glass! This slightly fizzy sweet wine pure joy, with aromas and flavors of crushed raspberries, candied cherries and strawberry-rhubarb tart all wrapped up in a fresh, easy to drink playground for the palate. A wine made for warm days and a picnic or for that “cheat day” where you have ice cream and berries.
James Suckling
This wine is full of ripe strawberries, raspberries, red flowers and candied oranges. Sweet but not cloying, fresh and juicy, with a light to medium body and creamy bubbles. Flavorful and bright.
