Signatory Vintage Symington's Choice Bowmore 24 Year Old 2000 Cask #800090 Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Signatory Vintage Symington's Choice Bowmore 2000 is a limited 24 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky selected and bottled by independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Distilled at Bowmore on March 28, 2000, this single-cask expression spent its entire maturation in Bourbon Barrel #800090 before being bottled on August 21, 2024 at its natural cask strength of 52.2% ABV. Only 172 bottles were produced.

The long Bourbon barrel maturation beautifully complements Bowmore's characteristic maritime peat, bringing together gentle smoke, citrus, honey and vanilla with ripe orchard fruit and toasted oak.

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked salmon, grilled seafood, roast pork, aged cheddar, toasted nuts or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: A refined combination of gentle peat smoke, maritime salinity, citrus, honey, vanilla, orchard fruit and toasted oak.

Nose: Gentle peat smoke with citrus zest, honey and sea salt, complemented by vanilla, tropical fruit and floral heather.

Palate: Sweet vanilla and toasted oak lead into ripe apple and pear, with lemon, coconut and dark chocolate adding complexity.

Finish: Long and warming with maritime salinity, oak tannins, soft smoke, delicate spice and lingering sweetness.
