Bowmore 18 Year Old is a highly acclaimed, beautifully balanced single malt Scotch whisky crafted at Islay's oldest licensed distillery. Situated on the shores of Loch Indaal, Bowmore is celebrated for its traditional floor maltings and the legendary No. 1 Vaults, the world's oldest maturation warehouse. This exceptional expression is aged for a full eighteen years in a hand-selected combination of both finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, alongside traditional ex-bourbon barrels. The extended aging process perfectly tames the distillery's signature Islay peat smoke, seamlessly weaving it into rich layers of dark chocolate, sun-ripened fruits, and complex wood oils to create a remarkably sophisticated and elegant dram.

Food Pairing: Pairs magnificently with rich chocolate fondues, slow-roasted venison with a berry reduction, seared duck breast, or robust, mature cheeses like a traditional English Stilton.

TASTING NOTES - A deep, rich mahogany color with a medium-to-full body and a wonderfully smooth, velvety, and luxurious mouthfeel.

NOSE - Rich and complex, opening with dominant aromas of dark chocolate, creamy caramel, and ripe dark fruits, beautifully integrated with a gentle background of classic Islay peat smoke and sea spray.

PALATE - Exceptionally balanced and layered on the tongue, delivering flavors of sweet fruit syrup, roasted hazelnuts, and rich toffee, leading into darker notes of raisins, gentle oak tannins, and a beautifully mellowed wood smoke.

FINISH - Long, warming, and remarkably elegant, resolving with lingering impressions of sweet sherry wood, dry cocoa, and a fading whisper of warming peat ash.
