About the Gabriel Boudier Olive Gin
Gabriel Boudier Olive Gin is a savory craft spirit produced by Maison Gabriel Boudier in Dijon, France. Six botanicals (AOP black olives from Nyons, juniper berries, coriander, sweet orange peel, angelica root, and iris root) are separately distilled in traditional copper stills to create concentrated botanical spirits before being expertly blended. The inclusion of French AOP black olives imparts a rich, Mediterranean savory depth balanced by bright citrus and piney juniper.
Food Pairing: Tapenade, fresh oysters, cured hams, grilled seafood, feta and goat cheese, roasted Mediterranean vegetables, and charcuterie boards.
Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with a smooth, savory, and well-rounded mouthfeel.
Nose: Rich black olive aromas up front, supported by piney juniper, sweet orange peel, and faint earthy roots.
Palate: Fresh juniper attack balanced by savory olive weight, transitioning into bright citrus peel, warm coriander spice, and earthy iris.
Finish: Clean and dry with lingering notes of savory black olive, subtle spice, and a crisp, juniper-led tail.
Serve: Serve over ice topped with premium Indian tonic water, garnished with a sprig of rosemary or fresh olive, or build into a Dirty Martini, Mediterranean Negroni, or Red Snapper.
