Bouchard Père & Fils 'Beaune Clos De La Mousse' Premier Cru Monopole 2021 is an exceptional Premier Cru red Burgundy sourced entirely from the historic 3.36-hectare walled vineyard owned exclusively by Bouchard Père & Fils since 1826. Displaying a bright ruby color in the glass, it opens with pure and aromatic notes of fresh red cherry, wild raspberry, and pomegranate, interwoven with subtle hints of violet, crushed limestone, and gentle oak spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, refined, and beautifully balanced, offering a core of energetic red berry fruit supported by fine-grained tannins and a vibrant, cooling acidity that leads into a long, persistent, and elegant finish.
Food Pairing: Pairs wonderfully with roasted duck breast, pan-seared pork tenderloin, grilled lamb chops, wild mushroom risotto, and medium-aged French cheeses like Comté or Brie.
