Bottega Alex 'Alexander' Aqva di Vita Grappa Bianca is an exceptionally elegant and clear Italian spirit that showcases the rich distilling heritage of the Veneto region. Produced by the renowned, family-owned Bottega SpA distillery, this premium grappa bianca (white grappa) is traditionally crafted using the pomace of high-quality Glera and Pinot grapes, the very same varietals used for the region's famous sparkling wines. The fresh pomace is distilled in modern copper steam stills to capture the purest essence of the fruit. Rather than undergoing oak aging, the spirit is refined in stainless steel tanks for approximately six months. This structural rest allows the volatile compounds to harmonize fully, softening any rough edges while preserving the bright, transparent, and intensely aromatic fruit profile that makes classic Italian grappa world-famous.

Food Pairing: Pairs beautifully with strong, mature cheeses like sharp Pecorino or Gorgonzola, dark chocolate desserts, caramelized figs, or dried fruits like dates. It is also traditionally used to "correct" a shot of espresso or as a post-coffee rinse (resentin).

TASTING NOTES - Completely colorless, transparent, and crystal-clear with a round, opulent, and satisfyingly medium body that delivers a vibrant yet balanced mouthfeel on the palate.

NOSE - Intense, fresh, and highly expressive, opening with distinct aromas of green grass, honeydew melon, and white flowers, layered with subtle hints of wild berries and a delicate undertone of dried fruit.

PALATE - Powerful and lively on the tongue yet remarkably smooth and elegant, presenting a natural fruit-like sweetness alongside harmoniously balanced notes of crisp grapes and a gentle kiss of warming white pepper spice.

FINISH - Long, clean, and highly persistent, trailing off with elegant fruit flavors, a subtle herbal freshness, and a soft, refined warmth.

SERVE - Best enjoyed slightly chilled at around 10–12°C (50–54°F) in a classic tulip-shaped grappa glass to direct the fresh fruit and floral aromas toward the nose.
