Boodles British London Dry Gin 1L

First produced in 1845, Boodles British Gin is a historic London Dry style gin named after the prestigious Boodle's Gentlemen's Club in St. James's, London. Presented in a 1L format ideal for high-volume service and home bar enthusiasts, Boodles is uniquely distilled without citrus botanicals. Instead, it relies on a understated, classic blend of traditional herbs and spices—including nutmeg, sage, and rosemary—allowing the clean juniper and warm botanical spices to deliver a rich, herbal, and distinctively understated profile.

Food Pairing: Classic British roast beef, fish and chips, aged Cheddar, savoury meat pies, smoked salmon, or cucumber sandwiches.

Tasting Notes: Crystal clear in appearance with a clean, full-bodied, and remarkably smooth mouthfeel.

Nose: Intensely aromatic with piney juniper leading, supported by earthy angelica root, warm coriander seed, subtle nutmeg spice, and fresh herbal sage notes.

Palate: Rich, dry, and balanced, opening with robust piney juniper berries before unfolding into complex layers of coriander, herbal rosemary, earthy roots, and a warm peppery spice complexity.

Finish: Long, clean, and dry with lingering notes of herbal pine, warm baking spice, and a crisp, peppery finish.

Serve: Serve over large ice cubes with premium Indian tonic water and a fresh twist of lemon peel, or as the quintessential classic foundation for a Dry Martini or Negroni.
