Bonanza Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich, supple, and exceptionally approachable non-vintage red wine created by Chuck Wagner, the renowned owner and winemaker of Caymus Vineyards. Produced as a multi-vintage blend to ensure delicious consistency, this wine explores broader vineyard sites across the state of California that are ideally suited for farming quality Cabernet Sauvignon. In the glass, it possesses a dark, deep ruby hue. The forward and highly aromatic nose opens with luxurious aromas of ripe blackberries, dark blueberries, and dark currants, seamlessly layered with warm undertones of vanilla bean, brown sugar, toasted oak, and a touch of subtle smokiness. On the palate, the wine is medium-to-full-bodied, soft, and distinctly fruit-driven, displaying a smooth and plush texture with low acidity and very gentle, melted tannins.
