About the Bogle Vineyards 'Phantom' Red 2020 750ml
Hauntingly deep ruby in color, this premium blend of Petite Sirah and Zinfandel opens with aromas of blackberries and cherry cobbler. On the palate, tantalizing flavors of marionberry jam appear first, with hints of white pepper, juniper berry and baking spices coming out of the shadows to seduce the senses. The finish lingers, as plush, velvety tannins possess the palate, softened by 24 months spent aging in American oak.
Blend: 60% Petite Sirah, 40% Zinfandel

This dark-garnet-hued wine is opulent, with aromas of black currant compote, blackberry, cumin, florals, and earth on the nose. The flavors on the palate are blackberry, boysenberry, brûlée orange slices and clove, interlaced with toasty oak, black peppercorn, bittersweet chocolate, sweet cigar and a long finish.
