About the DAOU Bodyguard Red 2022 750ml
The Bodyguard is the latest masterwork from Winemaker Daniel Daou. Bodyguard is an innovative blend of predominately Petit Verdot and Petite Sirah - two varieties that achieve elegant harmony in the hands of Chief Winemaker Daniel Daou. The 2022 vintage boasts a deep garnet hue with aromas of ripe plum, berry compote, blackberry and clove, underlain by hints of pine, cedar and vanilla. Juicy, velvety textures expand with layers of mixed berry flavors. A medium-bodied mouthfeel finishes with bright, silky tannins.
