Brave New Spirits WhiskyHeroes The Unpronounceable Staoisha 11 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Brave New Spirits WhiskyHeroes The Unpronounceable is an 11 Year Old heavily peated Islay single malt produced at Bunnahabhain Distillery under the Staoisha name. Matured in a single first-fill American Bourbon barrel and bottled at 48.2% ABV, this limited release showcases the powerful smoky and maritime side of Bunnahabhain.

First-fill Bourbon maturation balances the robust peat with layers of vanilla, caramel and honeyed sweetness. Bonfire smoke and coastal character are joined by toasted coconut, grilled seaweed and burnt citrus peel, creating an expressive and distinctly Islay single malt.

Food Pairing: Pair with smoked salmon, grilled prawns, barbecue pork, smoked cheddar, roasted almonds or dark chocolate.

Tasting Notes: Intensely smoky and maritime with sweet Bourbon-cask influence, combining bonfire smoke, vanilla, toasted coconut, citrus and coastal salinity.

Palate: Creamy and smoky with dark honey, toasted nuts, grilled seaweed, malt sweetness and burnt citrus peel.
