Brave New Spirits Whisky of Voodoo Serpent's Ember is an adventurous 11 Year Old Highland single malt from Blair Athol Distillery. Released as part of Batch #3 of the Whisky of Voodoo series, this small-batch expression combines whisky matured in first-fill Rum casks and second-fill Islay hogsheads before bottling at a robust 53.2% ABV.

The unusual combination of rum and Islay casks brings tropical sweetness and subtle smoky character to Blair Athol's rich Highland malt. Ripe orchard fruit, caramelized sweetness and creamy vanilla are complemented by dried fruit, herbal nuances and gentle dying embers.

Food Pairing: Pair with barbecued pork, smoked cheddar, grilled pineapple, toasted nuts, apple crumble or caramel-based desserts.

Tasting Notes: Rich and expressive with red apple, tropical sweetness, creamy vanilla and subtle smoke balanced by mineral and herbaceous notes.
