Blue Spot Irish Whiskey

Blue Spot 7 Year Old is a vibrant and highly acclaimed single pot still Irish whiskey resurrected after a 56-year hiatus. Bottled uncut at cask strength, it undergoes a complex maturation process for at least seven years in a combination of ex-Bourbon casks, ex-Sherry butts, and Portuguese ex-Madeira casks. The nose is remarkably lively and tropical, bursting with aromas of pineapple, kiwi, and green banana, layered with baked apple, toasted hazelnuts, and signature pot still spices. On the palate, it delivers an intense, full-flavored punch with a viscous, mouth-coating texture. Flavours of creamy vanilla, milk chocolate, and sweet wine are balanced by a sharp wave of black pepper, clove oil, and cinnamon spice. The finish is exceptionally long and powerful, leaving a lingering trail of exotic fruits, earthy oak, and warming spices.
