Blackwater Wexford Strawberry Gin

Handcrafted in County Waterford, Ireland, by Blackwater Distillery, Wexford Strawberry Gin is distilled using real, fresh Wexford strawberries harvested locally during the Irish summer season. Unlike mass-produced flavoured gins that rely on post-distillation artificial syrups or excessive sugars, Blackwater macerates and distills fresh berries directly into the spirit alongside traditional botanicals, yielding a naturally crisp, fruity expression with zero added sugar.

Food Pairing: Fresh berry pavlova, lemon tarts, goat cheese crostini, smoked salmon bites, or fruit-topped spinach salads.

Tasting Notes: Pale blush pink in appearance with a smooth, light, and juicy mouthfeel featuring subtle crisp dryness.

Nose: Intensely aromatic with sun-ripened Wexford strawberries, fresh red berries, and zesty citrus peel, grounded by a classic backbone of piney juniper.

Palate: Vibrant and fruit-forward without sweetness, leading with natural tart strawberry and red currant before unfolding into crisp juniper berries, lemon oil, and subtle herbal spice.

Finish: Clean, crisp, and refreshing with lingering notes of wild strawberry skin, citrus zest, and dry pine.

Serve: Serve over large ice cubes with premium tonic water or elderflower tonic, garnished with a slice of fresh strawberry and a basil leaf or sprig of mint.
