About the Bernardeschi Governo all'Uso Toscano 2022
The blend combines the nobility of Sangiovese with the roundness of Merlot. After manual harvesting, part of the grapes is dried for 20 days to concentrate and enhance their aromatic profile. The grapes are vinified separately, but both undergo maceration for at least 14 days to extract color and polyphenols.
It has an intense ruby red color. The bouquet is dominated by elegant and refined aromas of red berries, complemented by a delicate vanilla finish. On the palate, it stands out for its full-bodied, rich, and creamy texture, with well-defined tannins that blend into a long, slightly spicy finish.
It pairs ideally with red meats, especially beef, and game. It also enhances a platter of aged cheeses.
