Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault Les Narvaux-Dessous 2022

Crafted in the famed Côte de Beaune region of Burgundy, France, Domaine Bernard-Bonin Meursault 'Les Narvaux-Dessous' 2022 is an exceptional, highly sought-after white Burgundy produced by dynamic husband-and-wife team Nicolas Bernard and Véronique Bonin. Globally celebrated by collectors and sommeliers for their low-intervention, biodynamic approach, Domaine Bernard-Bonin crafts pristine expressions of Chardonnay that emphasize energy, tension, and terroir transparency. Sourced from the prized Les Narvaux-Dessous lieu-dit—located just above the Premier Cru slope on steep, stony limestone soils—the estate's old vines yield fruit of intense aromatic purity and mineral drive. Hand-harvested and gently pressed, the 2022 fruit underwent spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts in French oak barrels. The wine matured patiently on its fine lees for 15 to 18 months without battonage (lees stirring), and was bottled with minimal sulfur, unfined and unfiltered, to preserve its vibrant natural freshness and texture

Food Pairing: Pan-seared sea scallops with brown butter, butter-poached lobster tail, roast Bresse chicken with tarragon cream, wild mushroom risotto, and artisanal cheeses such as aged Comté or Époisses.
