Bereche & Fils Ay Grand Cru 2015

Bérêche & Fils Aÿ Grand Cru 2015 is an extraordinary, single-terroir Blanc de Noirs grower Champagne produced in extremely limited quantities from old vines in the Grand Cru village of Aÿ in the Vallée de la Marne. Sourced from a dedicated parcel characterized by deep chalk soils, the wine is vinified with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels, bottled under natural cork, and undergoes extended lees aging before disgorgement with a minimal Extra Brut dosage. In the glass, it displays a deep golden color with a delicate, fine perlage. The complex nose reveals expressive aromas of ripe orchard fruit, mirabelle plum, dried orange peel, toasted brioche, honeycomb, and distinct chalky minerality. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and intensely structured, driven by broad Pinot Noir depth, vibrant acidity, and a long, saline, savory finish.
