About the Bench 1775 Syrah 2021
A full-bodied Syrah showing dark berry, blueberry, white pepper, chocolate, and herbal characters. The wine spent 16 months in oak, including 40% new French oak, with the balance in two- and three-year-old wood. Decanting allows its ripe fruit and savory character to open.
Food Pairing: Pairs best with grilled rack of lamb, eggplant parmesan, spicy tofu, or aged smoked Gouda.
