Belle Glos Las Alturas Pinot Noir 2021

Belle Glos Las Alturas Pinot Noir 2021 is a dark, opulent, and lavishly full-bodied expression of Pinot Noir sourced from one of the highest grape-growing benches in the Santa Lucia Highlands. On the nose, this deeply extracted wine offers an aromatic medley of ripe black cherry, sun-ripened raspberry, and marionberry, intricately layered with complex notes of toasty caramel, ground nutmeg, milk chocolate, and subtle cola shake. The palate is robust, heavy, and velvety in texture, framing a generous core of luscious wild berries and black plums with melted licorice, soft oak spices, and a touch of savory forest floor. Balancing its immense weight with a surprisingly vibrant streak of natural acidity, it carries through to a decadent, warming, and mouthwatering finish that beautifully highlights its cool maritime-influenced terroir.

Food Pairing: Pairs perfectly with slow-braised beef short ribs, grilled rosemary lamb chops, glazed pork belly, or an earthy wild mushroom risotto.
