Bedford Park Old Rhosdhu 30 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Bedford Park Old Rhosdhu 30 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is an ultra-rare, deeply aged independent release under the Bedford Park label by Alexander Murray & Co. "Old Rhosdhu" is the historical brand name used for a specific single malt style produced at the Loch Lomond Distillery in Alexandria using traditional straight-necked pot stills, prior to the brand's discontinuation. Distilled decades ago and matured for 30 years in oak casks, this exceptional spirit showcases an extraordinarily mature profile featuring waxy tropical fruit, polished antique oak, heather honey, and refined baking spice.

Food Pairing: Pairs exceptionally well with dry-aged ribeye steak, dark chocolate truffles, aged Gouda, roasted duck breast, or pecan pie.

Tasting Notes: An exquisite and deeply complex mature single malt delivering layers of waxen mango, papaya, heather honey, old leather, polished oak, and gentle cinnamon.

Nose: Aromatic tropical fruit, dried mango, beeswax, old leather, vanilla bean, and rich polished oak woodiness.

Palate: Silky, oily, and full-bodied on the palate with notes of sweet honeyed grain, papaya, candied orange zest, dried apricot, nutmeg, and seasoned oak wood.

Finish: Exceptionally long, elegant, and warm with lingering notes of sweet tropical fruit, waxen honey, soft cocoa, and delicate oak spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn glass or copita after letting it breathe for a few minutes to open up its complex mature layers.
