Bedford Park Islay Whisky 13 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Bedford Park Islay Whisky 13 Year Old is a mature single-cask independent release bottled under the Bedford Park label by Alexander Murray & Co. Sourced from an undisclosed distillery on the island of Islay and aged for 13 years in oak casks, this expression showcases the signature coastal and peat-driven character for which the island is world-renowned. Bottled without chill filtration or artificial coloring, it offers an expressive balance of smoldering campfire smoke, medicinal peat, sweet citrus oil, brine, and gentle oak vanilla.

Food Pairing: Pairs exceptionally well with raw oysters, smoked brisket, charred ribeye, sharp blue cheese, and dark chocolate desserts.

Tasting Notes: An authentic, well-aged Islay single malt delivering smoldering peat smoke, maritime sea salt, lemon peel, and warm wood spice.

Nose: Peat smoke, tarry ropes, sea spray, crisp lemon zest, honeyed malt, and soft vanilla oak.

Palate: Full-bodied and oily with notes of smoldering campfire ash, salted caramel, sweet citrus, cracked black pepper, and toasted woodiness.

Finish: Long and warming with lingering coastal smoke, lingering saltiness, and dry oak spice.

Serve: Enjoy neat in a Glencairn glass or with a few drops of water to open up its maritime aromas.
