Stepping away from Basil Hayden’s signature high-rye formula, this release replaces the secondary rye grain entirely with brown rice, bringing a distinctively soft, creamy cereal sweetness to the distillate. The bourbon is then given a unique finishing period in a proprietary toasted and flash-charred oak barrel. This process coaxes out deep caramelized wood sugars and rich roasted characteristics, delivering an incredibly approachable, light-bodied whiskey that swaps sharp rye pepper for gentle warmth and sweet oak layers.
