About the Baron de Ley Gran Reserva 2017 1.5L Magnum

Violet red in color, this wine has aromas of dark plum and cassis with a hint of leather. It is soft at first sip, then smooth tannins build in volume, backing flavors of pomegranate, cherry, roast yellow pepper, dark chocolate and eucalyptus with a lingering sense of brightness. Midweight tannins evolve on the palate and then drop off into a butterscotch and orange finish. Mike DeSimone
