Casa E. di Mirafiore Barolo 2019 is an extraordinarily classic and refined expression of Nebbiolo, sourced from sustainably farmed organic vineyards located in the sub-zones of Serralunga d'Alba and Barolo. Vinified traditionally using indigenous yeasts with an extended skin contact period of 30 to 45 days, it matures for two years in large Slavonian oak casks, followed by additional aging in the bottle. The nose reveals a complex bouquet of dried red rose petals, sour cherries, dark plum, tobacco leaf, and subtle forest floor nuances. On the palate, it exhibits impressive structure and balance, framed by taut, fine-grained tannins, vibrant mountain acidity, and a long, persistent finish marked by savory spice and crushed stone minerality.
