Banfi Fonte Alla Selva Chianti Classico Gran Selezione 2020 is an elegant and structured red wine that captures the highest tier of quality within the Chianti Classico region. Sourced primarily from Sangiovese grown in the sandy-clay soils of the Castellina in Chianti estate, the wine undergoes controlled temperature fermentation followed by 12 to 14 months of aging in French oak casks and bottle refinement. It displays an inviting core of dark cherries, ripe plums, and blackberries complemented by notes of licorice, dried herbs, and subtle spice. The palate is full-bodied yet refined, showcasing silky tannins, vibrant acidity, and a long, focused finish.
