About the Banfi Magna Cum Laude 2021 750ml
A captivating Supertuscan that combines four of the red grape varieties selected throughout Banfi's history as the best for the Montalcino vineyards.
Ruby red, intense and very deep. Full bouquet, with aromas of blackberries and plums, complemented by licorice, black olives, and pipe-tobacco notes. Full-bodied, with supple tannins.
Perfect with bean soups, grilled meat and aged cheese.
95 Points - Wine Spectator
Tightly knit and supple, delivering black currant, blackberry, violet and graphite aromas and flavors. This harmonious red shows a well-integrated structure, with terrific energy and length. Though approachable now, this should really hit its stride in a year or two. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sangiovese and Syrah.
