The nose starts earthy, salty and metallic, with cherries providing pop, but gradually a deep, nuanced sweetness emerges with notes of dried fig and wild oregano. Strawberries join the cherries to highlight the palate, but balance comes from a continued herbaceousness, with mineral stoniness and acid bouncing around chewy tannins.
