Baldoria Vermouth Orange Wine 2021 is a rare and innovative semi-dry vermouth crafted in Piedmont, Italy, utilizing an authentic skin-contact amber wine from the Republic of Georgia as its foundation. Sourced from Georgian Rkatsiteli grapes, the base wine undergoes traditional skin contact to develop deep complexity, which is then infused with separate botanical macerations including three types of wormwood, bitter genepy, lavender, orange peel, clove, and savory herbs. In the glass, it presents a rich amber color with complex aromatics of baked apples, orange zest, honeyed walnut, and crushed dried herbs. On the palate, it is delicately sweet and textured with a subtle tannic grip, balanced by vibrant acidity, warm spices, and a pleasantly earthy, herbal-bitter finish.
