Balblair 15 Year Old

Balblair 15 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky distilled at the Balblair Distillery in the Northern Highlands of Scotland. Non-chill filtered and bottled at natural color, this expression is initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being finished in first-fill Spanish oak Oloroso sherry butts. The dual cask maturation brings together Balblair's signature orchard-fruit distillery character with deep sherry richness, dark chocolate, and warm spice.

Food Pairing: Roasted duck, braised beef short ribs, dark chocolate desserts, fruit cake, and aged blue cheeses.

Tasting Notes : Bright amber with natural coppery hues, offering a rich, smooth, and velvety mouthfeel on the palate.

Nose : Leatherwood honey, spicy gingerbread, juicy prunes, skin-on baked apples, and toasted oak with subtle dark chocolate.
